Imam adh-Dhahabi (rahimahullah) said:


When fitnah occurs, adhere to the Sunnah and remain silent, and do not be nosy / delve in matters that are none of your concern, and if something becomes difficult for you, refer it back to Allah and His Messenger (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and stop and say: “Allah knows best”.
