Jumu’ah Reminder

One of the blessings with which the Muslim nation has been endowed is the day of Jumu'ah. The Messenger of Allah, sallahu alayhi wa’salaam, said: “The best day the sun rises over is Friday; on it Allah created Aadam. On it, he was made to enter paradise, on it he was expelled from it, and the Last Hour will take place on no other day than Friday. [Ahmad and At-At-Tirmithi].

⭐️Recite Surah Kahf

Whoever reads Surah al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.” (Narrated by al-Haakim, 2/399; al-Bayhaqi)

⭐️Memorize its first ten verses so that we will be safeguarded from the Dajjal (the Antichrist), the worst of afflictions that will befall mankind.

➡️Our Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said that the greatest affliction and trial for mankind on earth will be the Dajjāl-“There is not a trial from the time of Adam until the Hour greater than the Dajjāl.”

📌He will come out at a time when people are negligent of religion and are turningaway from Islamic knowledge. This will serve to distinguish true believers from disbelievers and true Muslims from doubters.

❗️When he comes out, people will flee to the mountain heights for fear of him.

🪶The Prophet, sallahu alayhi wa salaam,said, “When three things appear, faith will not do any good to a person who has not believed before or earned good through his faith: the rising of the sun in its place of setting, the coming of Ad-Dajjal, and the beast of the earth”(Reported by Muslim).

❗️Volume 1, Book 4, Number 184

[...] “I have been inspired (and have understood) that you will be put to trials in your graves and these trials will be like the trials of Ad-Dajjal, or nearly like it (the sub narrator is not sure of what Asma' said). Angels will come to every one of you and ask, 'What do you know about this man?' A believer will reply, 'He is Muhammad, Allah's Apostle , and he came to us with self-evident truth and guidance. So we accepted his teaching, believed and followed him.' Then the angels will say to him to sleep in peace as they have come to know that he was a believer. On the other hand a hypocrite or a doubtful person will reply, 'I do not know but heard the people saying something and so I said the same.' ”

🪶Every Friday we focus on this Surah and lessons learned. InshaAllah we pray the lessons we learn will allow us to live good lives and reject the Dajjal.

The ultimate solution is to strengthen our īmān, hold onto the Qur’an and *act upon Qur’an and follow the example of our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم sunnah*, it will be beneficial

for us in our grave and the Day of Judgement.

⭐️ Send supplication on Prophet SallAllahu alyhi wa sallam.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:*

"Frequently send salutations on me on Friday during the day and night. Whoever sends one salutation on me, Allah will send ten to him."

[Al-Bayhaqi in his Sunnan. Shaykh Al-Albani graded this hadeeth as being "Hasan" in Saheehah 1407]

⭐️ Make a lot of dua between Asr and Maghrib
